 Great booster, may not LATCH in all seating positions September 1, 2010

I chose this booster because my 10 year old daughter is small for her age and needed the height a booster offers, but does not like the feel of most high back boosters. She is also very thin and complains about the comfort of some boosters on long rides. We were leaving on a 1400 mile road trip and all five of my kids require some type of carseat/booster, so I wanted to make sure we could make the seats all fit properly in our 7 passenger 2005 Sienna and that everyone would be as comfortable as possible.
The actual seat part of the booster is very well cushioned. In fact, my daughter did not complain once about her hips or bottom hurting the entire trip (which is quite the accomplishment!. The arm rests are nice and high which seem to make it easier to buckle a seat belt. The LATCH connectors are rigid, which means that they are not on a belt like some car seats and boosters. They stick out of the back of the booster straight and well, rigid. The LATCH was easy to accomplish in the passenger side, third row seat of our van, but could not be accomplished in the passengers side captain's chair. The openings on the captain's chair for the LATCH connectors were not far enough apart for the LATCH connectors on the clek. I tried to move the leather over and make it work, but it just wasn't possible.
Overall, I am very pleased with the clek ozzi as it is working well for us. The construction is sturdy and it does what it is supposed to do. I am relieved that it is so well cushioned-it is well worth the money for comfort alone.

I love, love, love the latch system on this. Our state recently changed car seat laws and childen over 8 have to be in boosters. This is perfect for my 7 year old son.

This is the second Clek Ozzi Booster seat we purchase and we love them both! Very safe, easy to install, and comfortable. We bought the first 2 years ago and decided to get the another one for our second car. What attracted me to this product was its latch system. Booster seats are notorious for not being very safe (the ordinary models can slip from under the child during an accident) and this was the only model I could find that latched onto the car. Unlatching this seat is also very easy - making it practical on trips or if you have more than one vehicle and only one booster seat. My son also loves how comfortable it is! We recommend it!

In our Honda Odyssey the placement of the armrests on this booster seat interferes with the seatbelt catch. My daughter also finds the armrests very uncomfortable. Other than the armrest issues, this seems to be a great booster seat. I love the fact that it features the latch system. If I could purchase this seat without armrests or with removable armrests, I definitely would. As it is, the arm rests are a deal breaker. The booster seat can't be very safe if you can't buckle your seatbelt once it's installed.

Two minor complaints -- no cupholder & is wider than our other booster. The other one we have is a Britax where the back comes off. They're both just as comfortable. The biggest thing I appreciate about this Clek is the latch system. In the Britax, the seat would move when he gets in and out which sometimes will block the seat belt buckle so my son would not be able to buckle in.. I would have to get out of the car and move his seat -- huge inconvenience when the weather is extreme. Since the Clek is wider, it's hard to put someone in the middle.
